Facilities
Our view can not be better. Our hill top facility offers mountains to the west, hills to the north and Okotoks to the east. We are proud of the improvements that we have be able to achieve in the last 4 years to offer our clients.
The facility includes: large grass ring with natural obsticals.
Large sand ring.
2 full sets of decorated show jumps.
20 stall heated barn.
60 X 160' heated indoor arena.
Large paddocks with shelters and
waterers.
Easy access to trail riding.
The Barn is a 20 box stall barn with 5 tack up stalls. The stalls range in size from 12' X 10' to 12' X 11.5'. There is one 10' X 10' stall. All stalls contain rubber matts, water pail and corner feed bin. All stalls have a sliding door with an open upper half. Lockers are large with top open storage for blankets. The ceilings are high and the barn is well ventilated. The barn stalls and ally ways are freshly painted every spring.
The Arena is attached and has recently been insulated. The footing is kept harrowed and free from dust and manure. It receives lots of natural lighting and is pleasant to ride in.
The Paddocks are large and arranged in an U around and behind the barn and arena for easy and quick access to your horses. The fencing is horse friendly and safe, being plastic coated high tensile wire that will not cut or harm the horse. For respect the middle strand of the fence is electric and is made from the same material as the main components of the fence. All shelters are made from corrugated tin designed to be used under cement and are horse proof. All paddocks have new waterers within the last 2 years and water quality is guaranteed. Paddocks are sized according to the number of horses they were meant to contain. Example an individual paddock is 50' X 75', a 2 horse is paddock is double that size. The large group paddocks (maximum of 6 horses) are approximately 2 acres each. We also have a 20 acre pasture with a maximum of 10 horses. We feed hay year round to the pasture horses to ensure the quality of the grass.
The Sand Ring is 165' X 250' and is an all weather ring. The footing is aggressive sand and has excellent drainage. A full course is set up all the time but still lots of room for Flat Work.
The Grass Ring boasts all the natural obsticals including a Devils Dyke, Table Top, Inverted Bank, Dry Ditch, Double Liver Pools, and a water jump. It also is set up with a fully decorated course at all times during the season. Both rings are available for outside schooling. See facility rental for rates.
